The Cost of Doing Nothing
David Binz, Director of Engineering & Matt Lanham, Regional Sales Manager; Cambridge Air Solutions
This session will discuss how utilizing evaporative cooling technologies can provide temperature relief for workers who are working in hot environments and how improved indoor environmental temperatures can improve productivity on the manufacturing floor.

Monoform+
Mike Ingham, Chief Sales Officer; HK Solutions Group & Nancy Freeman, Regional Sales Manager; HK Solutions Group
Manholes and other sewer structures are susceptible to aging and deteriorating, threatening the integrity of the whole sanitary system. Attendees at this session will learn about new advances in manhole rehabilitation using ABS plastic forming systems and ready mixed concrete. This system combines technology that gives the structure a full concrete manhole with an HDPE thermoplastic membrane. This is trenchless and allows for the rehabilitation of manholes and lift stations without disturbing the surrounding area or shutting down major roads for extended times.

Don't Let Your Disaster Plan Be a Disaster
Bill Zoeller, Vice President Environmental Health & Safety; J.S. Held LLC
Natural disasters like hurricanes and tornadoes can cause huge damages and disrupt businesses. Did you know that after a disaster:
• 25% of businesses do not reopen
• 25% fail within one year
• 90% fail within two years
And this is without the huge effect of COVID-19 and supply chain issues. This engaging one hour session will help businesses better plan for and survive after a disaster.

Margaret Jasinski, Regional Manager, Phigenics; Rick Dandrow, Corporate Account Manager, Phigenics; Joe Trumblak, Account Manager; Phigenics
A water management program (WMP) can help optimize your operational water costs (chemical, energy, water, and labor) while improving water safety and asset life such as chillers, cooling towers, and potable hot water systems/loops. Industry best practices such as ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 188 guide on how to implement WMPs.

Rethinking HVAC Restoration
Frank Santini, Vice President Business Development & Strategic Initiatives; Pure Air Control Services
This seminar will outline the viability of restoration for aging HVAC equipment and the return on investment. It will demonstrate with the support of case studies: Performance improvements in CFM, Static Pressure, Cooling Capacity, corresponding energy efficiency gains and CAPEX savings. An in-depth look at the process of reconditioning the HVAC system will also be covered. This includes steam coil cleaning, specialized coatings, closed cell insulation and an ECM fan array upgrade. Restore in place options will also be discussed for equipment located in areas not feasible for replacement. Ultimately, HVAC restoration is a sustainable, less disruptive, more cost effective solution than replacement and can pay for itself in energy savings.
Room B
Commercial Roofing Considerations for Photovoltaic (Solar) Applications
Matt Jeffries, Director of Sales; Advanced Roofing / Advanced Green Technologies
This session will begin with basic knowledge of roofing and waterproofing systems, their history and life cycle analysis and information on high performance roofing systems including single ply membranes & coatings. We will continue with basic knowledge of building integrated photo-voltaic (Solar) technologies and their integration into existing commercial structures & roofing membranes. You will receive the information needed to prepare high level feasibility calculations for your project or organization that can be used to evaluate any commercial solar project type (Rooftop Solar, Ground Mounted Solar, and Carport Solar). It will close with the basics of protecting both of your investments through preventative maintenance.
Room C
Industrial - Process Cooling Filtration
David Romeo, Filtration Engineer; Miller-Leaman, Inc.
Cooling Towers perform an important function in reducing heat in facility & manufacturing operations. The two primary components to maintaining “healthy” cooling water in cooling towers are water treatment and filtration. Filtration efficiency, water consumption and ongoing maintenance costs are important considerations in selecting the most appropriate filtration system for any given application. This seminar will look at most common types of filtration technologies for processing cooling water along with the pros and cons of each; including Manual Filters, Hybrid Filters, Automatic Filters, Centrifugal Separators & Disc Filters.
